A couple of these pitchers would be a perfect accessory for a long brunch or other party where beverages need to stay fresh for hours or longer. I poured steaming hot coffee into this pot one evening, and at noon the next day a cup poured from the pitcher was still hot. Its "press and pour" design is also a major improvement over many carafe designs--just press a button and pour the right amount of coffee, with no drips. The lid screws on with one twist, and seals neatly into place, which is one reason why drinks stay hot so long. And, beyond its functionality, this pitcher's sparkly silver-tone finish and graceful shape look good on the table. One warning: the glass liner may break if dropped and should be handled with some care. --Maria Dolan

Customer Rating: Summary: Keeps coffee HOT Comment: Fantastic product. Well designed for use & cleaning. Does not drip. Most importantly it really keeps coffee and beverages HOT! We use a french press for coffee & immediately transfer to this carafe. It keeps it very hot for 4-5 hours & very warm for 12 hours! The vacuum seal seems to be the secret! Amazing! Highly recommend! Customer Rating: Summary: Very Nice Comment: Don't let your coffee brew all day...this carafe is fantastic. Guests love the design. In the past, though, I have found that most carafes need to be replaced after a year or two or constant use. I'll wait until then to give it a 5 star.
