Summary: Fantastic! It will surprise you how good this is.
Comment: I've owned my Capresso Ultima for over two years -- and I LOVE IT! I can't see how even some of the pricey machines can beat it. I use it about 3 times a day. From off, I can have a 2 ounce espresso in 45 seconds, 6 oz in 65 seconds.
No baskets to mess with and clean after each use. Turn it on, drop your coffee into the funnel with the provided scoop, give the crank arm a quarter turn, press the lever down, push the dispense button and you are in business with espresso being dispensed in seconds.
Cleaning is simple (I do it twice a week) and only takes about 30 seconds. Push button to remove top, rinse top under running water, wipe inner platen (I use a paper towel and a pastery brush) to remove any latent grounds, replace top. When using, spent grounds fall into an internal bin. To empty (about twice a week for me), just remove and dump into trash -- 10 seconds at most.
Great espresso with rich thick 'crema'. I make shots, lattes, and cappuccinos and it is never a chore. Milk type products can be heated and even frothed with built in wand. The wand will also heat liquids (tea, soup, etc.).
Some 'one star-ers' talk about problems, plastic, rusting, etc. Not here. From reading what they said it looks as if they are not following directions and are blaming the machine rather than themselves. Some need to use the proper coffee grind; some, I suspect, don't clean their machine properly. Notice all the 5 star reviews from others. My device is well built and sturdy and shows no sign of wear even after two years. It's one of the best pieces of kitchen equipment I own.
You really can't imagine how nice this is unless you see it in action. There are videos on [...] and on the mfgr's site which you should look at. If you see one demonstrated at a friend's house you will so impressed that you will buy one immediately.

Summary: Capuccino capresso
Comment: I had higher expectations regarding this capuccino machine. This one is good but it has a system you need to learn before you can easily use it on a daily basis. For example, after watching the instructional video, they do not give you all the details necessary to maneuver the machine. This week, I cleaned the machine and wanted to make coffee, something was not working and I had to leave to work without a cup of coffee after using it for a month. This machine can be very mysterious! ALso, I do not like the fact that you cannot control how strong the coffee will be, you can only turn it off sooner to make the coffee stronger.

Comment: Me and my hubby bought this machine since we are expresso/cappuchino lovers, let me tell you that I can make my cappuchino in less than 2 minutes! I am not a morning person and I am always in a rush to work and this is just the easiest machine ever! Best purchase ever.

Summary: Disappointing
Comment: I read reviews and thought this coffee maker was for me. I attempted many different coffees, grids, water types and amount to get back to the taste I enjoy with no luck. The unit internally disposed of large portion of coffee for each cup I made both in the overflow tray and old grounds retainer. I did what customer support suggested with no reduction in fluid level.
I tested the coffee quality on my friends and they were not impressed. Now I have to figure out which unit to purchase next.

Summary: I love this machine, no wait I hate this machine
Comment: The first brand-new machine did not froth, so Amazon sent a replacement and that one worked for a while. I have owned this machine for 18 months and have made probably over 1,000 shots. It's a great machine, brilliant rotating eject system with built in tamper. Very convenient. 2 months ago, it started leaking from the bottom onto the counter tops and in addition, the primary gasket failed. Fair enough, things happen. I call Capresso, they say a repair -all in- inclusive of shipping is $80, also reasonable. It's really a swap with a re-furb, you do not get your original machine back.
The repair comes in -- frother doesn't work. I call them back and they replace again. Guess what? Frother doesn't work, again!
I like the machine a lot, but no one should have to deal with a 75% out-of-the-box defect rate and a major failure after 18 months. The product is nicely designed, but poorly built and has very poor repair quality control.
I can not recommend it.
