Customer Rating: Summary: Great Buy! Comment: Works like a charm! A few pieces of the popcorn come out a tiny bit chewy, but definitely a fair exchange for how healthy air popping is compared to swimming in oil. It does come out dry, so you have to lightly spray it with butter, olive oil or Pam to get salt to stick. Follow the instructions for the amount of kernels to use, and understand that it is designed to blow out the finished product (so a few hot unpopped kernels will come out). Anyone that has a problem with how this unit operates is fishing for something to complain about. This is a great buy!
Customer Rating: Summary: It's Absolutely Amazing!!! Comment: Bought this popper a week ago and i'm pleased to say that it works great, and it's a great deal. I originally bought this at a wal-mart for $15, which i thought was a hell of a deal, and i had no idea that there are poppers with the same price that won't efficiently work but this one worked. Then afterwards i read reviews and i was amazed even more because it was truly a deal! The con: No on/off switch, not that it maters. In any case it pops 98% of kernels, which is way more than microwave popcorn and it's healthier, i simply love it. To add, you're saving money because if you're a popcorn-freak, within a few batches that 15 dollars will be way worth it.
And if you don't get the taste you want, you can get some calorie-free oil spray and mix it with salt at the same time and make the salt (or whatever) stick.
Customer Rating: Summary: Hot air pop corn popper Comment: Great product at a terrific price. If you like popcorn, you will love this little popper.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great purchase Comment: This product is great. I've used it lots since I've got it and each time it makes great popcorn with very few unpopped kernals left over. I recommend to use white popping corn, as it makes a lighter and fluffier popcorn than yellow popping corn. I've had some issues with popped popcorn and some unpopped kernals flying out of the shoot when the machine is on. So be careful of that. Kernals come out quite hot!
All in all, a great machine for the $$.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great popper Comment: This is a great popper. It's fast and efficient and of course healthy since it's an air popper. No oil needed. Also it's worth the price for sure. I tried a $15 air popper from Target and it was almost worthless. It shot scalding un-popped kernels all over the kitchen and popped less than half of the kernels total. However this great popper pops 99% of the kernels, giving you a delicious huge bowl of fresh popcorn every time. Con: No on/off switch. By the way, this is the same exact model as the Orville Redenbacher version just less expensive.
