Comment: Love, love, love these glasses! I have a soda or ice water in my hands all day long and these glasses never sweat. They are light weight as well. Everyone who uses them at our house wants to know where to get some! Highly recommend.

Summary: Without A Doubt, The Best of the Best!
Comment: I just wanted to stand up for these glasses, as it seems the other two people have decided to score them poorly.
I have bought three boxes of these cups, and have never broken a single one of these. True, I am single with no kids running around the house looking for things to break, nor dogs with wild tails thumping around looking for things to break -- but come on folks, you should not be buying these to hand the kids a glass of orange tang with... really!
First off let me say I really enjoy how these fit in my hands. I am an American guy and have big hands, I find I can grip these with enough force to make it feel like a manly glass, yet not worry about it shattering to pieces (something I cannot say the same about with the Bodum Pavina 15-Ounce Double-Wall Thermo Glasses (Tall Drink), Set of 2 glasses.) I also enjoy how there is a bigger curve at the bottom of the Luigi Bormioli's than what the same Bodum Pavina have, because it creates a nice place to double-curl your finger back and get a better grip for those "serious times" of drinking.

and of course the Luigi Bormioli Duo 16-Ounce Beverage Glasses, Set of 4 for which this is a review of.
When it comes to overall pleasure, these Luigi Bormioli Duo 16-Ounce Beverage Glasses are the first glasses I usually grab for. They hold a good amount of liquids and thus keep me from having to get up so much to pour another cup of my favorite drink.
When it comes to overall size, I was honestly surprised at the differences between the 12-ounce and the 16-ounce at first. When it comes to a cup of coffee, that extra 4-ounces ends up being a surprising amount. However, when it comes to a cold glass of iced water, I do not find much of a difference.
When it comes to breaking them... well, I have broken two of the Bodum Pavina 12-Ounce glasses and one of the Luigi Bormioli Duo 12-Ounce glasses since I started buying these style of glasses last year. One of the Bodum Pavina 12-Ounce glasses got a small fracture in it while in the dishwasher (something a buddy of mine who has also tried all of these, also had happen) - a leason learned for both of us. The other two were broken because of my own stupidity. The first was from sitting in the sink and having something fall on it (of course, I have had other glassware breaking from this happening too, so, hard to "blame it on the design" like the other reviewers tend to like to do), and the second was broken while I was cleaning it... I had it in my hand and guess I got a bit... ok, my mind was obviously somewhere else at that moment... because as I was shaking some of the water out of it I hit the darn facet spout with the glass (doh!). One of the concerns is how bad they "shatter" when broken. Of the three glasses I have had break, none of them "shattered". The manufactures have done and awesome job to ensure I do not have a million pieces of itty-bitty glass to pick up! (thanks to them for that!) So, suffice to say, of the 22 glasses I have bought, only three have broken so far. Again, these are not for your kids and you shouldn't leave them where they might get knocked over... these are doublewall glassware - not cheap plastic - treat them as such folks and you can get a lot of usage out of them!
When it comes to hot/cold sweating... these doublewall glassware are the best of the best! When friends ask me which I prefer better, the Bodum Pavina or the Luigi Bormioli, I usually have to shrug my shoulders, because they both do a top-notch job! I have never had a single one of my glasses sweat on the outside. Though interestingly, the Bodum Pavina do tend to gather more moisture within their inner walls, but I am no scientist so I've got no idea why. Maybe it's because the Bodum Pavina are slightly superior in their "hand crafted" design... but I got no idea for sure. Either way, it does not effect the overall usage and performance.
When it comes to price... Yeah, there is no doubt that these are not cheap! My first set I paid in the $25 dollar range for. Since then I just keep them in my cart and monitor the pricing of them. Last week they dropped to $18 bucks so I bought another box, and just today (for about an hour) they were at $11 bucks, so I went and bought two more boxes - probably going to be Christmas gifts to the family. Anyway, when one keeps in mind that these are specialized glassware and not Dixie cups, they extra money is easy to justify. As I mentioned above, my entire kitchen has nothing but Luigi Bormioli and Bodum Pavina doublewall glasses, not because I am trying to be elite for when my friends visit, but because these things really do rock, and when the friends did come over, all they would want to know is if they could use one of these! Oh, and let us not forget the amount of money we save from damaged wood tables and desks that would normally get wet from other glasses sweating... that has got to account for something in the overall price/savings! :D
Lastly, for those of you own the Keurig B70 Gourmet Single-Cup Home Brewing System... I thought I would let you know that the Luigi Bormioli Duo 16-Ounce Beverage Glasses, Set of 4 DO fit... amazingly enough! It is close... but they will fit!
Hope this helps some of you looking to buy these. As somebody who has bought three boxes of these (thus, 12 cups), I am beyond happy with them. All of my other glassware has now been removed from my kitchen!

The glasses are great - stylish and very functional. The difficulty seems to be the quality control in their manufacture. I ordered two sets of four glasses. One of the glasses had an imperfect seal between the inner and the outer layer, and when washed in the dishwasher the first time, collected a small amount of water which now swirls around between the inner and outer glass layers. I probably would have simply chalked this up as an isolated incident and not written this review, except for the fact I also ordered a set of the 4oz expresso Duos and one of those also sprung a leak.

Summary: Good size but very fragile
Comment: I received these glasses very quickly and was excited to use them. I bought them because of the "non sweat" and non clouding but didn't realize how fragile they really were. Within 3 days, one of them broke because it was just tipped over while on the counter and it literally exploded. Lots of small pieces of glass everywhere in the kitchen. I don't think that I would buy these again.
